Common Dementia Syndromes in Older Patients
Purpose:The purpose of this activity is to improve the knowledge of physician members and the  quality of patient care, especially in diagnosing and treating elderly Chinese patients who experience dementia syndromes.
Objectives:Upon completion of this presentation, the participants will be able to do the following:
  1. Recognize the clinical differences between Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia syndromes. 
  2. Identify the most appropriate treatment plan for the four most common dementia syndromes.
  3. Discuss the culturally appropriate geriatric care when introducing the findings of dementia with elderly Chinese patients and their caretakers.
